Flexaust introduces a new, factory installed soft cuff for their line of reinforced polyurethane hoses that provides finished clamping surfaces and eliminates the need for bridge clamps.
Flx-Thane® Polyurethane Hose is reinforced with a bronze coated spring steel wire helix and is now offered with thermally molded, soft polyurethane cuffs that provide smooth clamping surfaces. Eliminating the need for bridge clamps, these elasticized cuffs are ideal for vapor recovery and dust collection applications requiring a rugged hose that seals tight.
Allowing the use of standard clamps, Flx-Thane® Polyurethane Hose can be equipped with thermally molded cuffs in sizes from 2” to 12” I.D. This highly flexible, compressible, and abrasion-resistant hose comes in two wall thicknesses: MD and SD Series are .030” and the LD is .020” thick. Clear (FDA acceptable), black, and static control versions are available.
