HIGHLY COMPRESSIBLE TO SAVE SPACE  A new, clear PVC hose for dust and light woodchip collection applications that compresses at better than a 3:1 ratio to ship and store in small boxes is being introduced by Flexaust of Warsaw, Indiana.
The Flexaust® Flexadux® PV R-4 is a medium weight clear PVC hose reinforced with a spring steel wire helix that is designed for dust and light woodchip collection. Featuring high compressibility, the construction of this hose reduces shipping costs and saves storage space. For example, a 10 ft. long x 4” I.D. hose ships in a compact 4-1/2” sq. x 3 ft. long box.
Compact value packaging for the Flexaust® Flexadux® PV R-4 clear PVC hose is offered in 2 to 12” I.D. sizes and standard 10, 25, and 50 ft. lengths with comparable space-saving to the above example. This hose has a 0.025” wall thickness for 2” to 5” and 0.028” for 6” and above and offers good chemical and water resistance and a wide 20°F to 160°F operating range.
