NewsFebruary 1 2007NEW FLX-THANE® SE URETHANE HOSE - SELF-EXTINGUISHING! FLEXIBLE, TOUGH AND UL 94V-0 LISTED  A new line of rugged, wire-reinforced clear polyurethane hose that is self-extinguishing and halogen-free for use in a wide range of ventilation, evacuation, ducting and material transfer applications is being introduced by The Flexaust Company, Inc. of Warsaw, Indiana.
Flexaust® Flx-Thane® SE is a clear polyurethane hose that is UL 94V-0 listed, has a smooth interior for optimum air flow and is reinforced with a coated spring steel wire helix. Featuring superior abrasion-, chemical-, cut- and puncture resistance, this self-extinguishing, halogen-free hose operates from -65°F to 225°F, is highly flexible and has a 4:1 compression ratio.
Manufactured using FDA acceptable materials, Flexaust® Flx-Thane® SE is available in 2 to 24” and 60 to 300 mm I.D. sizes, with a 0.030” wall, and comes in 25 and 50 ft. standard lengths. Also offered in black, this hose is a suitable replacement for neoprene coated polyesters, PVC and thermoplastic TPR hoses, and the coated wire helix creates a smooth bend radius.
