RACEFLEX® - BRAKE COOLING DUCTS
EXTEND RACECAR BRAKE LIFE

A new line of brake cooling ducts for NASCAR braking systems, where in a 500-mile race the drivers brake 600 plus times (USA Today, July 21, 2006), is being introduced by The Flexaust Company, Inc. of Warsaw, Indiana.

Flexaust® Raceflex® Brake Cooling Ducts are constructed from a light weight laminate of fiberglass and vacuum metallized polyester film to reflect heat and direct cool air onto braking systems. Designed for NASCAR where drivers brake aggressively for about 200 ft. while entering turns, these flexible cooling ducts operate at up to 625ºF and extend racecar brake life.

Featuring a smooth bend radius and 2.64” compression per foot of hose, Flexaust® Raceflex® Brake Cooling Ducts come in 1.5”, 2”, 2.5”, and 3” I.D. sizes and standard 12 ft. lengths with plain cut ends. Besides brake cooling applications in auto racing, this hose is suitable for industrial press brakes, power transmission, and related applications.

Flexaust® Raceflex® Brake Cooling Ducts are priced according to size and quantity. Literature, quotations, and samples are provided upon request.
