FABRIC REINFORCED WITH SMOOTH INTERIOR  A new, general purpose fabric reinforced thermoplastic rubber hose that is ideal for handling corrosive fumes at high temperatures, dust, and debris is being introduced by The Flexaust Company, Inc. of Warsaw, Indiana.
Flexaust® Flexadux® T-7SR Fabric Reinforced TPR Hose is made from a thermoplastic rubber coated super reinforced non-woven polyester, with a spring steel wire helix, and provides up to a 20% better flow than traditional hose, claims the firm. Suitable for positive pressure applications up to 50 psi, depending upon the size and application, this general purpose hose is ideal for fume removal at temperatures up to 280ºF continuous and dust collection.
Exhibiting up to 4x better puncture, tear, and abrasion resistance than standard non-reinforced thermoplastic rubber hose, Flexaust® Flexadux® T-7SR Fabric Reinforced TPR Hose is available in 2” to 12” I.D. in standard black and blue colors in 25 ft. lengths. Other features include resistance to UV, ozone, weathering, and most chemicals. Typical applications are fume extraction, dust collection, leaf and debris pickup, heating and cooling, and lightweight material handling.
